GUtt01 is an English User who began editing on Wikipedia from 2012, contributing to work by either making corrections to information, rewording sections, or general improvements to spelling/grammar. Although not a major contributor, and rarely involved in making pages, he is mostly involved in simply browsing and enjoying the articles on Wikipedia.
Most of his contributions have either been to Wiki articles of British TV Shows, Video Games, or Agatha Christie Novels, which are among his favourite things, alongside good music, dragons, James Bond, Mr Bean, and Action Movies. Out of these, he has fondnesses for QI, the Temeraire series, World of Warcraft, James Bond movies, the SimCity series, Pokemon, Top Gear (2002 TV Show), Discworld Novels, Hustle (UK TV Series), Doctor Who, amongst others.
GUtt01 believes in a motto: "The only definition of impossible that I will only ever follow, is the one where something cannot be done if it breaks the rules of reality."
As of 19 September 2021, this user has chosen to discontinue involvement with Wikipedia:
"I have enjoyed my time editing here. There have been ups and downs, things where I have done good, and things where I have done wrong. However, a recent dispute and a failure to get engagement with the other party involved to try to resolve the matter or make a compromise with, has disheartened me to the point that I feel I would do myself no good remaining here as an editor, especially if nothing improves - particularly myself. I will be leaving Wikipedia to focus on my life. My only wish is that editors do their best and try to engage with each other if disputes arise, regardless of experience/number of edits/role on Wikipedia. And even when disputes are resolved, don't feel sour or feel like it has left a sour taste - try to move on, learn from what happened, and try to be better in future."
