Hi, I'm Fresh Micks (Michael is my real name) and I live in Eureka, California, although my hometown is King City, California. I'm a professional Mixing Engineer for artists of all genres globally. I'm also a Hip-Hop/R&B artist myself and have been creating music for well over 10 years under the pseudonym Fresh Micks as well.

About Me

  • I have professionally mixed and mastered works of music for over 600 artists worldwide.
  • I've worked with all genres of music all the way from country to rock and EDM.
  • I started my work as a mix engineer in 2010 with freelance work from artists on fiverr.com.
  • I have taken professional courses in mixing and mastering as well as several workshops inside well-known studios.

Things I Like

I love music, cinema, literature and all things considered "art" be it a wide spectrum. My day job consists of mixing musically works from artists across the world to get their tracks sound radio-ready and professionally mixed and mastered. I'm interested in all kinds of music and genres to no limit and create my own music under the pseudonym Fresh Micks as well. Above all, I'm passionate about the idea of lifelong improvement in physical, emotional, and mental health. Always willing to broaden my horizons in some way, shape, or form. I can play guitar and will soon be on the road to learning classical piano.

I work as a freelance mixing engineer.

My favorite genres of music are Indie Rock, Hip-Hop/R&B and Electronic Dance Music.
