Return to Dillon
After 10 years in Philedelphia Tami and Eric miss the quiet of Dillon and realize that Philidelphia is not a place they want to raise their daughter after a trajedy occurs at Braymore involving a troubled student and his unrequited obsession with Tami. The Taylors mutually agree to head for home to Texas with Gracie Belle after much debate on what is best. While on the road they find out through Slammin Sammy Mead that the Panthers are in complete disoray, East Dillon had burned to the ground, Erics long time friend Mac who took the reigns of the Super Team after Eric left had died of a massive heart attack after losing state six months earlier. Buddy is emotionally destroyed over the loss of Mac and what was left of the coaching staff had departed for greener pastures leaving the Panthers without any Coaches. Since then Matt and Julie had graduated from college, got married and returned to Dillon to lay Matts grandmother to rest. Upon hearing what had happened with the Panthers and finding their beloved Coach Taylor had returned to Dillon as the Panthers Head Coach: Matt Saracen, Brian Williams, Dallas Tinker, Luke Cafferty and Landry Clark returns as coaches to help Coach Taylor rebuild the Panthers and face their racist nemesis from the 2006 play offs the Dunston Valley Cardinals in the season opener in Dillon. However, even the best laid plans go afoul when Lylas plane experiances mechanical failure and crashes bringing the Garrity clan together once more in hopes their eldest daughter and sister survived the crash causing the town to rally together to not only support the team but to bring Lyla home at any cost.
