Ed's legal name is actually Edwardo Miller. Apparently, his mother could not spell.
Ed is currently located in New Jersey and works primarily as a quick fix consultant in the area of Fourier optics, adaptive optics and computer modeling of optical systems. Ed has used many numeric software tools, including MATLAB, Mathcad, IDL and DADiSP and has found each to have their own set of strengths and weaknesses.
