Jeff Michael Andrews was an American jazz and jazz fusion bassist.

One of the most prominent bassists of the contemporary jazz scene, Jeff Andrews' professional career began in 1983, when he was signed as bassist by the jazz-rock band "Blood, Sweat & Tears". After successive works of minor importance, he participated in the Bob Minzter and Gil Evans orchestras and makes a place as a session musician among some of the best known artists of the fusion scene, recording with musicians such as Bob Berg, Michael Brecker of "Steps Ahead". In 1990 he accompanied saxophonist Wayne Shorter, and soon after was signed by drummer Steve Smith for his band "Vital Information". At the same time Mike Stern, who, in 1993, hired him for his trio (with Dave Weckl on drums) and with whom he made four world tours, which was a strong boost for the bassist. In 1994 and until 2000 Jeff Andrews launched a project under his name, the Jeff Andrews & New Standards Band.

In recent years Jeff Andrews has directed his professional career towards the teaching field.
