Pretty-much decided that the joke that Wikipedia has become is no longer worth fighting for. It is already a laughing stock in academic and general circles and as it now appears to be almost totally populated with deletionists and "little people" trying to make themselves feel important (but without any interest in actually adding anything like information to an encyclopedia) it is probably time to do something more worthwhile.
For a decade I did my best to make the internet not suck. Wikipedia was a great idea, and it was a lot of fun gathering together information into a format that people around the world could access. What a shame it is being allowed to be killed off by the actions of a petty, self-appointed junta.
Will the last person out please turn off the lights.
