I'm DC, Director of Academic Success - Technology - at the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

Formerly, a Deutsch Foundation Innovation Fellow (2012-2013) and Co-Founder of The Public Learning Media Laboratory. My work and research address the teaching and learning of digital skills, and merge the fields of cognitive science and psychology with instructional design. On the side, I'm a caver, banjo player and cook(er).

Wikipedia Interests

I've become involved after discovering that articles describing Learning Standards were weak. Since then, I've found that a constellation of related articles, including the Committee of Ten and items describing the history and origins for educational standards also need some help. I'm also interested in learning science and other instructional topics, but contribute to other articles as needed.
