Retired computer guy, resident of northern NJ. Spent many years at Bell Labs working on gov't projects, signal processors, and the development of cellular base stations. Hence, I have some interest in Navy cable ships, underwater acoustics, submarine cables, computer architectures, software development, wireless, telecommunications, and the various parts of the old Bell System.
