Under Construction - Ferrets in literature and the media

Ferrets have traditionally been portrayed negatively. In his satire 'The Achaeans', written around 450 BC, the Greek playwright Aristophanes compared the Achaeans to ferrets, implying they were thieves.

More recent representations of ferrets ??? mischievous (the TV program Xchange or comic (the film Along Came Polly), ???

In the film Kindergarten Cop, the lead character (played by Arnold Schwarzenegger owns a pet ferret, who becomes the mascot of his kindergarten class and saves his life by biting the villain. [citation needed]
