Upward Flight begins in 2014 as an indie/rock band with electronic and experimental music influences. The group is composed of Ruben Roman Gil (Vocals, Electric Bass and Acoustic Guitar), Jonathan Collazo Huertas (Keyboard, Vocals) and Leonel Lopez Rivera (Drums, Vocals and Other Electronic Instruments). In the same year they released their first single "Lifted". In 2015 they released their second single "Secret Place" and recorded their first music video, which won Best Music Video Award in Enfoque International Films Festival 2016. In 2016 with "Walking Miles" they won Best Music Video Award in Enfoque International Film Festival 2017, on that year they released their first EP "Secret Place".
