ClockworkSoul (active wikipedian June 2004—present) is a Wikipedian administrator, advocate and mediator. Making 1871 edits under the username ClockworkTroll, his November 2004 request for adminship determined that the word "troll" carried too many negative connotations for an administrator. A contest was announced to pick a new username; the winning entry (put forward by sannse) was ClockworkSoul.

As noted in his RfA, ClockworkSoul promoted the use of the barnstar system heavily, and ended up becoming a mediator and advocate, as well as a member of the Welcoming Committee and several WikiProjects. A colour scheme based on his own design for WikiProject Beer, ClockworkSoul's Coffee Roll was declared the winner of the first template standardisation process, and can now be seen in action on talk pages and policy pages just about everywhere.
