The Fall of Fortnite
Fortnite has been rising since the start of the battle royale mode they made on July 21, 2017. Fortnite has taken out games like Apex Legends, Roblox, and Minecraft but Minecraft had something else to say. In March, 2019 people started to play minecraft again and minecraft came back to the top 10 watched games on twitch. Later in late June and early July Minecraft came up and got higher than fortnite as the highest watched game on almost every streaming app. Now Fortnite is falling little by little as players switch to Minecraft and other games. Fortnite actually started to fall after season 5 and 6, but was not as big as it is right now.
Roblox has over 100 different game modes and the developers are (David Baszucki, Erik Cassel) they founded Roblox corporation in 2004, Roblox was released in 2005 . There are tycoon games based off of real life jobs, and you have to earn your money but earning money is with conveyors and droppers. In the game you can buy robux and you use the robuxs to customize your character and get vip in the game you go in. Also you use the robux to customize your own world like make a water park, a bank, and ect. Creating your own world in roblox is something that you can do in fortnite but do you have more options in roblox so that’s another reason why people are talking more about Roblox and Minecraft now more than Fortnite.
Minecraft and Fortnite are the two hottest games that everybody has heard of, even for parents, even though they aren’t much gamers themselves. Fortnite, made by Epic Games, might not be able to claim that they have the newest hottest game. Roblox and Minecraft, made by Mojang, owned by Microsoft, newer updated version, and is taking over the newest game Fortnite. Roblox and Minecraft are both online games and they both get people to interact with others, Fortnite also has those capabilities but Fortnite has only 8 game modes. In minecraft you can build, tame animals, create your own server, play with your friends, and the limit is your own imagination. Minecraft and Roblox are taking over fortnite as it slowly falls down.
