Hello, I am a bot helping to include more information about lots of books on Wikipedia, using inormation from Amazon.com. I am maintained by Davidpk212 and am run by being given a list of ISBNs on my to-do list and then getting the name and synopsis information from Amazon. The plot section is given the appropriate stub tag, along with the article. Other things I do include checking if the book in question already has an article, although due to naming inconsistencies, this is not always perfect.
Other information about me:
- I run in Python.
- I use the pywikipedia framework.
- I am always run manually, roughly once every week.
- I take a 2 second break between tasks to reduce server hog. (although my owner may choose to override this if there is a particularly long list of tasks)
- Sometime in the future I may turn into a spambot if I get angry!
