Task forces
These reference templates are for referencing the Pokédex from the Pokémon games. They are for each game that has a Pokédex, which includes the staduim games. Some entries may be the same for both games such as Red and Blue, so you should put both games in the title instead of just one.
How-to
To add a Pokédex reference to a page, simply add the following after the sentence that needs to be referenced.
<ref name="dexcharizard5">'''Pokédex:'''
It spits fire that is hot enough to melt boulders. Known to cause forest fires unintentionally.
{{cite video game|title=Pokémon Red and Blue|developer=Game Freak
|publisher=Nintendo |date=1998-09-30 |platform=Game Boy |language=English}}</ref>
This is a little tricky, but once you have got the hang of it, it is easy. Let me break it down.
<ref name="dex">
The start of the reference. Put the Pokémon's name and what number reference it is. When you click on the reference at the reflist it looks at the name to see where to bring you to. If this is the 5th Pokédex reference in the pharagraph for Charizard, you put "dexcharizard5".
'''Pokédex:'''
This is where you put the actual Pokédex entry. You can find these at Bulbapedia under Pokédex Entries
{{cite video game|title=Pokémon Red and Blue|developer=Game Freak
|publisher=Nintendo |date=1998-09-30 |platform=Game Boy |language=English}}</ref>
This is where it gets a little tricky. The only thing that you should change is "title", "date", and "platform". You can take these from other references already on the page from that game or you can come back to this page and take them from here.
Below are all the diffferent references you can use with the name, date, and platform already filled out.
