User:Beejamjam

Heyo, I'm beejamjam (they/them). Wikipedia is a means by which I may attempt to positively impact a world that, elsewhere, feels almost unresponsive to genuine endeavours toward its improvement.

I am a big article writer in both senses of the term, though also love sorting things into categories on Commons. The articles I've written often fit into one or two topics out of a triad of Norvician history, LGBTQ stuff, and internet oddities. Combined with this, I've had editing fixations over lecterns, decapitated statues, gibbeting, bridges, and queer football supporters' groups.

Article creations

When I make articles from scratch, I try to publish them once they are at the best quality that I can personally achieve, at least in the time I have available. I find that if I publish an article when it's short, I risk becoming distracted and losing the willpower to bring it up to standard. I'll often find a missing article to create while deep in the writing process for another article. In this way, I often form a chain reaction of creation, such as from Norwich Pride to Chapelfield Gardens to the Great Blow.

My first article was about the board game Oath: Chronicles of Empire and Exile, and my hundredth was about the Norwich city walls. I created 7 articles in 2022, 26 in 2023, 31 in 2024, and 66 in 2025. Articles I've created that myself or others have added to Wikipedia's unusual articles list include the cop slide, the Cornell University pumpkin prank, the Detroit Bridgerton Themed Ball, and the Gay Footballer. As of May 2026, the biggest article I've created by character count is a list of people gibbeted in the United Kingdom.[1]

These are all the articles I have created, including those expanded from redirects. They are sorted by assessment and in order of creation date. For my contributions to articles I did not create, see my article contributions. Selected articles of which I am proudest, that I find most interesting, that have a great story, or that I believe have had an actual impact, are in bold.

Notes

  1. ^ This number includes the Leder Games, Master Peace, Thy Slaughter and stop the boats articles, all 4 of which were created from redirects and so do not appear on XTools. It does not include disambiguation pages of which I have created 2, nor deleted articles of which I have 1. As such, this number should be the number on XTools plus 1.
