I am a retired US Government meteorologist, as well as a late blooming history and trivia buff. I am especially interested regarding atmospheric sciences, transportation, vehicles, trains, and aircraft, the world space program, cities and art. I have no special credentials outside meteorology and simple aspects of rock acoustics, other than my factoid finding ability. I cite this ability with caution, since "facts" found on the Internet are often not at all...merely rumor. :)
