Hello, its BabuBhatt, Jerry Seinfeld's Pakistani restaurateur friend. Summer 2007 status: No longer a contributor, merely a reader. I attempted to make an edit and was blocked by some spam blacklist deal. As someone who been a positive contributer for a year and a half, it offends me to jump through hoops just to edit a page. I still believe in the project, and wish all editors luck.

BabuBhatt is a good man, and a good bowler. And as a rider, he explored the resorts from Copper Mountain and Winter Park to Breck and Vail. And ... up to The 'Boat.

As a youth, my old man helped me build a model 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air. This led to a series completed with varying degrees of success: a Chevrolet Camaro, a Plymouth Duster, a Ford Galaxie and a Pontiac GTO. On a wintry, celibate, carefree post-collegiate bachelor pad day in Winter 2002, I built a Ford Mustang SVX in one day: it looked pretty hideous. The project inspired a little more careful work on a Ford Lightning, a Mini, the reworked Camaro and Duster and the rehabbed Bel Air, Galaxie and GTO, which culminated in an Acura Integra that is a thing of beauty. A Ford Thunderbird and a 1928 Lincoln sit unstarted, but the phase has passed, for now.

I've been known to watch a little tube from the days of "Cosby Show," "Family Ties" and "The Dukes of Hazzard". Cable television entered my life at 12, where I got my first real tastes of MTV, VH-1 and Comedy Central. I discovered "Saturday Night Live" at 13. I was a devoted Bev-niner aka "Nine-oh" fan for one year in college. All time favorites are "Arrested Development", "Curb Your Enthusiasm", "Family Guy", "The Office (UK)", "Seinfeld" and "The Simpsons". I saw Jack Bauer's first grueling day and then abandoned him. I find the CSI franchise worthy and Without A Trace and Cold Case aren't bad either. HBO's The Wire is the best drama on DVD. Coupling's UK original incarnation is great too. Freaks and Geeks and Undeclared are proof that the best shows can't find significant audiences in America. American Chopper and various other Discovery and TLC shows have held my interest with some regularity in years past. Currently though, my tube addiction is under control with only the occasional SNL and US version of the Office.
