I'm still a new contributor. I contribute on and off, depending on my real life work load.
Particular topics of interest are those regarding animals, science, veterinary medicine, agriculture, reproduction, and zoology. I have an American education. a doctorate, and over a decade of work experience relative to the above fields, with a world view on relevant topic discussion. With Wikipedia being used more and more by young people, I found myself concerned that the Wikipedia pages of the above areas lacked scientific citations.
I happy to locate evidence-based and scholarly sources for Wikipedia content in my areas of expertise. I pledge to improve Wikipedia's content to the best of my abilities.
