Universidad Iberoamericana León (IBERO León) is a private, Catholic, Jesuit university campus located in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico, which was founded in 1978 as a campus of Universidad Iberoamericana to extend its reach to the state of Guanajuato and the Bajio region. It is now independently run from the Mexico City campus and it is part of the Jesuit University System, largest university network in the World, with more than 200 universities in 5 continents.[2]

Universidad Iberoamericana León is a private entity, governed by Promotion of Culture and Higher Education Bajio, AC, which provides instruction at all levels of education, both undergraduate and graduate degrees, fosters cultural and scientific activities,[3] promotes scientific research and cultural and literary endeavors,[4] and undertakes complementary activities.[5]
