Introduction 2013
Status Under development (2017)

The Triavio Italo (Italian) is an Italian ultralight aircraft, designed and produced by Triavio of Catania, introduced at the AERO Friedrichshafen show in 2013. The aircraft is intended to be supplied as a kit for amateur construction or complete and ready-to-fly.[1]

Design and development

The Italo was designed to comply with the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale microlight rules and US light-sport aircraft (LSA) rules. It will also be available as a homebuilt aircraft kit. It features a cantilever low-wing, an enclosed cockpit with two-seats-in-side-by-side configuration under a bubble canopy, retractable tricycle landing gear and a single engine in tractor configuration.[1]

The aircraft is made from sheet aluminum. Its 7.77 m (25.5 ft) span wing employs slotted flaps. Standard engines available will be the 100 hp (75 kW) Rotax 912ULS and 912iS four-stroke powerplants.[1]

The design was shown at the 2013 AERO Friedrichshafen show, but was still under development in 2015 and was not yet advertised for sale on the company website in March 2017.[1][2]

A future LSA version is planned, but as of March 2017, the design does not appear on the Federal Aviation Administration's list of approved special light-sport aircraft.[3]

Appendage of a leaf in flowering plants In botany, a stipule is an outgrowth typically borne on both sides (sometimes on just one side) of the base of a leafstalk (the petiole). Stipules are considered part of the anatomy of the leaf of a typical flowering plant, although in many species they may be inconspicuous —or sometimes entirely absent, and the leaf is then termed exstipulate. (In some older botanical writing, the term stipule was used more generally to refer to any small leaves or l...

MD5

Message-digest hashing algorithm The MD5 message-digest algorithm is a widely used hash function producing a 128-bit hash value. MD5 was designed by Ronald Rivest in 1991 to replace an earlier hash function MD4,[1] and was specified in 1992 as RFC 1321. MD5 can be used as a checksum to verify data integrity against unintentional corruption. Historically it was widely used as a cryptographic hash function; however it has been found to suffer from extensive vulnerabilities. It remains s...
