British television presenter
Tonia Buxton is a British television presenter, restaurateur and author of Greek Cypriot descent. She is the host of the Discovery Channel Travel & Living series My Greek Kitchen and My Cypriot Kitchen.[1][2]
Career
Buxton's series, My Greek Kitchen 1 & 2 and My Cypriot Kitchen, have been shown in over 30 countries globally. She has written five books; one is on holistic pregnancy, while the other four are on food and health books.
Buxton was a regular on Good Morning Britain, presenting The Sugar Free Summer diet and the Eat more to lose more plans. She has worked often on This Morning, her last segment on being Fabulous at Fifty with Liz Earle & Lias Snowden. She regularity cooks on Sunday Brunch.
Buxton has appeared as a commentator and presenter on GB News.
Political views
Buxton was an opponent of lockdowns and restrictions relating to COVID-19, and regularly appeared as a guest on The Independent Republic of Mike Graham show on Talkradio to commentate on these issues.[3]
Personal life
Buxton lives in north London, with her husband Paul and their four children.[4] They have been married since September 1996.[5] One of her daughters, Antigoni, took part in Season 8 of the British reality TV show Love Island.[citation needed]
