Tom Lockett (born 6 October 2002) is an English professional rugby union footballer who plays as a second row forward for Northampton Saints.
Early life
He was educated at Colchester Royal Grammar School.[3] He was in Colchester United F.C. football academy before joining the Northampton Saints aged 16 years-old.[4]
Club career
He became a member of the senior academy at Northampton Saints ahead of the 2021-2022 season.[5] He played on loan for Bedford Blues in the RFU Championship.[6] He made his senior debut against London Irish in the Premiership Rugby Cup in 2021. He made his Rugby Premiership debut against Sale Sharks in October 2023, and scored the match-winning try against RC Toulon in the Champions Cup in December 2023.[4][7]
He signed a new contract with Northampton in February 2024.[8]
International career
He played for Wales under-18 side before switching to England at under-20 level.[4][9]
