Nguyễn Thu Quỳnh (born September 30, 1988), commonly known by her stage name Thu Quỳnh, is a Vietnameseactress. As one of the 30 excellent contestants who participated in the final round of the Miss Vietnam 2008 contest, she is known for her roles in television series including Living with mother-in-law (Sống chung với mẹ chồng), Against the tide of tears (Ngược chiều nước mắt), Quỳnh búp bê (Quỳnh doll),[1]Come home, my children (Về nhà đi con), and Hương vị tình thân (The Taste of Intimacy).[2]
Childhood
Quynh was born and raised in Hanoi. Quynh is the eldest daughter in a family with a father who is a dancer and a mother who is an actress in the Army Drama Troupe. After graduating from high school, Quynh chose to study at the Faculty of Acting, University of Theatre and Cinema.
Career
Thu Quynh began her acting career in TV series such as Nhà có nhiều cửa sổ, 13 nữ tù when she was still a student. In 2018, Quynh made an impression on the audience through the role of My Wolf (My Sói) in the TV series Quỳnh búp bê. In 2019, Quynh impressed the audience through the role of the eldest sister Thu Hue, who is responsible and extremely gentle, resigned but also strong and decisive in the movie "Về nhà đi con". In 2021, in the movie Hương vị tình thân, Quynh transformed into the role of Khanh Thy, both pitiful and blameworthy, born and raised in a very difficult family situation, with many tragedies, so her inner life is very complicated, and her behavior is always torn between good and evil. In 2022, Quynh participated in the movie Hành trình công lý, Quynh played the role of An Nguyệt, Phuong's (Hồng Diễm) best friend, a diligent female prosecutor who helped Phuong clear the name of her husband Hoàng (Việt Anh). In 2023, Quynh participated in the movie Cuộc chiến không giới tuyến, reuniting with Việt Anh and Hà Việt Dũng, Quynh played the role of Lang Phương, a female H'mong doctor living in A Xa village, Muong Luong commune.
