In May 2021, it was announced Jafar Panahi , Anthony Chen , Malik Vitthal, Laura Poitras , Dominga Sotomayor , David Lowery and Apichatpong Weerasethakul had directed an anthology film, with Neon producing and distributing.[ 4]
