Thalassobacillus Gram-positive , oxidase positive, catalase negative, rod shaped and moderately halophilic genus of bacteria from the family of Bacillaceae .[ 1] [ 2] [ 3] [ 4] [ 5] [ 5] Thalassobacillus bacteria produces Meso-diaminopimelic acid .[ 6] [ 5] Thalassobacillus devorans sponges of the Saint Martin's Island of the Bay of Bengal , Bangladesh .[ 5]
