Revert war
OK, enough revert warring; I've locked m:The Wrong Version. Please hash out your differences here and reach some form of consensus. -- Avi 23:16, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
I personally prefer the version in use since April 2007. It is simpler, standardized, and reduces redundancy by using the flexible {{sockpuppet}} template. Is there any particular reason the hardcoded version (which PitOfBristol1973 is reverting to) is better? —{admin} Pathoschild 23:56:23, 02 August 2007 (UTC)Actually, I'll just revert based on Nard's comment below. —{admin} Pathoschild 23:58:34, 02 August 2007 (UTC)
Revert sockpuppet
{{editprotected|Please revert to the last version by Lights, as PitOfBristol1973 is an obvious sock, his only edits outside his own user space consist of edit warring on sockpuppet templates.}} -Nard 23:24, 2 August 2007 (UTC)}}
- Done. —{admin} Pathoschild 23:58:34, 02 August 2007 (UTC)
One problem I noticed
When you link to a specific Checkuser case, an extra period is added. See here for an example. "...Checkuser request. for evidence." Enigma message 05:03, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
- Fixed :) (for now I've even reverted to the previous version, I think having the complete expression linked is superior). -- lucasbfr talk 09:24, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
This template is now redundant
Once you write up a checkuser case, just add {{Sockpuppet|username|confirmed}} to the page. It will automagically create a link to the checkuser case. - LA @ 16:12, 2 July 2008 (UTC)
