The Template has been edited in order to:

Remove the Pequod from the Characters section. A new section "Ships" was created which may develop into a section containing pages on other ships as well.
Bring together all the pages on the book itself, so the link to the Cetology page has been moved to the upper ranks of the template.~

TonyTheTiger makes a good point that there should not be two links on the same line, but having "Characters" linked, we get into WP:EASTEREGG, that is, that a reader would not know what it links to without going there.
