Module cat
Apparently you can change the parameter so that the text uses "module" instead of "template", but it still gets placed into the templates' category. This needs fixing.--Mr. Guye (talk) 19:09, 30 March 2017 (UTC)

Reason parameter
Every time I use this template or consider using it, I wish it had a |reason= parameter. So I've boldly added one, and included it in the TemplateData. Musiconeologist • talk • contribs 21:07, 1 April 2025 (UTC)
No helpful "create" link
This template doesn't have a helpful "create" link, like {{documentation}} has, via its subpage {{documentation/preload}}.
— when used on a template page.
This template's link to "add, expand or improve it"-link then goes to the template itself.
As I found on Confused journal
This is fine used on a /doc page, where the "expand or improve it" part is true.
<sorry><gripe>Also, when placed on a /doc page, "missing" being not true.
And the "add" part is not true anywhere.</gripe></sorry>
