Category:History of Portugal: lots to remove there
Template:Regions of Portugal: statistical (NUTS3) subregions and intercommunal entities are confused; they are not the same in all regions, and should be sublisted separately in each region: intermunicipal entities are sometimes larger and split by subregions (e.g. the Metropolitan Area of Lisbon has two subregions), some intercommunal entities are containing only parts of subregions. All subregions should be listed explicitly and not assume they are only intermunicipal entities (which accessorily are not statistic subdivisions but real administrative entities, so they should be listed below, probably using a smaller font: we can safely eliminate the subgrouping by type of intermunicipal entity from this box).

I'm changing the entry Castilian and Leonese rule to Leonese rule, because the County of Portugal was never a dependency of the Kingdom of Castile but of the Kingdom of León, what happened was that Alfonso VI, besides being King of León, was also King of Castile, but the titles were independent. My change of this template to use sidebar was reverted with the explanation "look at all the european history templates; stop". so, I did, checking Category:European history by nation navigational boxes. I found that most of them use template:region history (which uses {{sidebar}}), or template:sidebar, or template:sidebar with collapsible lists. so, reverting this change will need a better rationale (in my opinion). note that the change to {{region history}} was also reverted with no explanation. there is still a problem with the section headings overlapping with the [show]/[hide] links. I suggest removing the text-align:center from the headings.
