Isn't "Appomattox" a geographic description? I think it's worthwhile to keep the template as short as possible: this is why I initially only put in parenthetical geographic descriptions for the schools whose names didn't suggest a region. I don't think "Petersburg" needs to be included as a parenthetical for that school. On closer evaluation, I realize that Appomattox County/Courthouse is something like 60 miles west of Petersburg, so I'm adding the geographic descriptor back in. Why on earth was the school named Appomattox?
