This message box provides a warning against paid editor scams. The template is used to on talk and project pages to warn potential victims. It has also been used as a user talk page header to raise awareness. The template has no parameters.
Usage
Add this template to talk page sections in which paid editing services are mentioned, or to user pages or user talk pages to display as a header.
How to hide this warning
If you no longer wish to see this warning you can hide it for yourself. Place the following CSS code into your Special:MyPage/common.css.
/* Hide [[tm:Scam warning]] boxes */ .ombox-scam_warning {display: none !important;}
You will need to publish the page and clear your cache as instructed on your common.css page.
