Template:Rail electrification
0 V
Please enter "AC" or "DC".
Usage
This template is used to generate the voltage, the type of current, the method of electrification, and the frequency (AC only) under a unified, flexible format. Note that the voltage value will convert to kilovolts beginning at 10,000 V (10 kV).

Parameters
- voltage or 1 – the number of volts (<10,000 V) or kilovolts (≥10,000 V) being supplied to a rail line or system (default value: 0)
- current or 2 – the type of current
- Acceptable inputs (case-sensitive):
ACorDC
- Acceptable inputs (case-sensitive):
- conductor or 3 – the method of electrification
- Acceptable inputs:
Third rail,Fourth rail,Overhead, orGuide bars
- Acceptable inputs:
- frequency or freq – the number of hertz
- This is a required parameter if current is set to AC and should not be used if set to DC.
- three-phase – Enter
yesif the rail line or system uses three-phase AC railway electrification.
- This parameter should not be used if current is set to DC.
