The result of the move request was: no consensus exists to move at this time, or that the current title isn't suitable. The sole support apart from the nominator supported weakly, however the take-away I get from this albeit brief discussion is that even if another title is more suitable, what that title should be is not clear, and I don't see another relist likely to garner a clear consensus. Oppose -Upon further review, this article cover colleges in Rome, some which are under the Holy See and grant degrees , and some that are not, and do not, but all traditionally considered "Roman Colleges" because of their location. There is a distinction between something like the Pontificia Ecclesiastica Academia, where the Holy See trains its diplomatic corps or Pontificio Collegio Romano, Rome's major seminary under the Bishop of Rome, who happens to be the pope, and the various national colleges located in Rome but run by their respective national bishops' conferences, which in many cases are primarily residence halls for students taking courses at universities in the area, and whose use of the term "pontifical", while historical, is largely honorary. The term "Roman" is used by Benigni, who certainly knew the difference, and could/would have used "Pontifical" if it applied. Capranica is the oldest Roman College but is not Pontifical. Well it's not bad, in that distinguishes these from the historic Jesuit "Roman College"; on the other hand, it would seem to also include all the secular schools. Maybe "Ecclesiastical Colleges in Rome"? @PPEMES: I think some of the difficulty arises from the distinction between continental "colleges" of the European model and American "colleges". "Catholic colleges" would seem to imply educational institutions in their own right, while the current title of "Roman colleges" better accords with the European college system of colleges as houses of formation, living, etc. I don't support the "Catholic colleges in Rome" title. Honestly, I'm not sure why the article's title need be changed. It's not like it says "Colleges in Rome" but only includes the Roman colleges. I think at this point, the article title should remain unchanged. Oppose renaming. • Mild Support - The current name seems too ambiguous for those of us not in the know. We say "Pontifical universities are higher education ecclesiastical schools established or approved directly by the Holy See", and "approved" removes much of Manannan67's objection. If this is still though too broad, maybe "Pontifical colleges and seminaries in Rome". "Ecclesiastical Colleges in Rome" seems an unnecessary stepo towards vagueness.
