Should we list the shorts in a table, as in the Betty Boop article? This list should be more organized if it will stay. Why is the pilot / first Oswald cartoon under 1928, with a dozen apparently newer than that? It's not the first then is it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.73.70.113 (talk) 22:31, 12 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2010-12-12T22:31:00.000Z","author":"75.73.70.113","type":"comment","level":1,"id":"c-75.73.70.113-2010-12-12T22:31:00.000Z-Pilot","replies":["c-Mepolypse-2010-12-12T22:52:00.000Z-75.73.70.113-2010-12-12T22:31:00.000Z"]}}-->

(I assume you mean "older than that".) Good question. The article on Oswald the Lucky Rabbit says the pilot, Poor Papa, was initially rejected. Perhaps it was re-released later, after the later shorts proved a success, like was done with the first Mickey Mouse shorts. It would be nice if someone could verify this. --Mepolypse (talk) 22:52, 12 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2010-12-12T22:52:00.000Z","author":"Mepolypse","type":"comment","level":2,"id":"c-Mepolypse-2010-12-12T22:52:00.000Z-75.73.70.113-2010-12-12T22:31:00.000Z","replies":["c-Mepolypse-2010-12-12T22:53:00.000Z-Mepolypse-2010-12-12T22:52:00.000Z"]}}-->

It was announced that Oswald’s first sound film would be called “Oswald’s Ragtime Band” it was supposed to have released in November 1928 however it was delayed until a month later yet it isn’t mentioned in this filmography was it cancelled? Probably, because they are at preservation archives, or their owners are not willing to release them Old toonz fan (talk) 08:21, 20 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"20240120082100","author":"Old toonz fan","type":"comment","level":3,"id":"c-Old_toonz_fan-20240120082100-MaxwellWinnie102-20240107053100","replies":["c-Old_toonz_fan-20240120082600-Old_toonz_fan-20240120082100"]}}-->
They will Probably be released in the future (ex. "Hold Em' Ozzie), also the shorts you mentioned were Disney, not Winkler, and were released immediately Old toonz fan (talk) 08:26, 20 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"20240120082600","author":"Old toonz fan","type":"comment","level":4,"id":"c-Old_toonz_fan-20240120082600-Old_toonz_fan-20240120082100","replies":[]}}-->

so, the cold feet box mentions this:"A drawing made by the animators attributed to this short shows Oswald playing a radiator like an accordion. This idea never made it to the final cartoon." I found a image of the drawing but I don't know if it is authentic can someone reply with advice.
