I know Cornell used to require headshots, but now they don't require them for any of the colleges, but they're optional for the Hotel School, which is rather bizarre. You can submit an optional essay in applying to any of the colleges if you feel sharing something the application didn't ask for would help your chances of admissions; they're apparently all but admitting that, ceteris paribus, the Hotel School prefers beautiful people. As far as the UK is concerned, we don't tend to talk about "college" applications over here -- or if we do, it has a different meaning. Our equivalent is university admission, which is partly covered by the UCAS article. Deb 19:40, 14 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

A correction that should be made is the combining of "'Gaming' the college application process" with the "United States" section. There should also be more countries' application information included in the article. Another thing that needs to be fixed is the source section of the article.
