Suriname is scheduled to compete at the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile from October 20 to November 5, 2023. This was Suriname's 14th appearance at the Pan American Games, having competed at every Games since 1971.
The Surinamese team consisted of six athletes competing in four sports.[1][2] Swimmers Irvin Hoost and Kaeylin Djoparto were the country's flagbearers during the opening ceremony.[3] Cyclist Jaïr Tjon En Fa won Suriname's first medal since the 1999 Pan American Games in Winnipeg, Canada, representing a span of 24 years.[4]

Suriname qualified one male athlete.[5][6] Soren Opti, Suriname's only representative in the sport, won his first match before losing to number one seed Brian Yang of Canada.[7]
Suriname qualified a total of 3 cyclists (two men and one woman).[8] However, only one male and female cyclist was entered.[1]
