Before transitioning to Dhallywood films, Shila appeared in several television dramas, including Gulshan Avenue, Ronger Mela, Bonbala, and Panditer Mela.[3][4] Shila's film debut came in 2014 during Eid-ul-Fitr with Hitman, where she starred alongside Shakib Khan, Apu Biswas, and Joy Chowdhury.[5][6] The performance in this movie earned a nomination in the "Best Newcomer" category at the Meril Prothom Alo Awards.[citation needed] Later that year, in December 2014, the second film, Khoniker Bhalobasha, was released.[7] Subsequent releases included Miya Bibi Raji on March 18, 2016, and Mon Jane Na Moner Thikana on April 2, 2016.[7][8][9]
