At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 5,496 in 1,301 households.[5] There were 5,129 inhabitants in 1,400 households at the following census of 2011.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 5,098 in 1,490 households. The most populous of its 13 villages was Chehr, with 2,277 people.[2]
