Early life, education and career

Hudella graduated from Hastings High School and attended the University of St. Thomas in Saint Paul, Minnesota.[1]

Hudella joined the Minnesota Army National Guard in 1988, serving until 2012. He was deployed in Operation Desert Storm in Iraq, and reached the rank of First Sergeant.[1]

Minnesota House of Representatives

Hudella was elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives in 2022. He first ran after redistricting and after three-term Republican incumbent Tony Jurgens announced he would run for a seat in the Minnesota Senate.[1]

Hudella serves on the Education Finance, Transportation Finance and Policy, and Veterans and Military Affairs Finance and Policy Committees.[1]

He has announced his intention not to run for reelection in 2024.[1]

Political positions
