Shane Heirman (born May 24, 1988) is an American basketball coach who is the head coach for the Incarnate Word Cardinals.

Playing career

Heirman played two years of college basketball at Tulsa, playing in 39 games and starting in two. He averaged 0.8 points, 0.7 rebounds, and 0.6 assists per game.[1]

Coaching career

La Lumiere

Heirman started his coaching career at La Lumiere School where he coached for three years guiding them to an 82–7 record.[2]

DePaul University

In 2017, Heirman was hired by Dave Laitao at DePaul University.[3].

Central Michigan University

In 2021, Heirman was hired by Toney Barbee to be the Associate Head Coach at Central Michigan University.[4]

University of the Incarnate Word

On May 5, 2023, Heirman was hired by Incarnate Word to be the Cardinals next men's basketball head coach.[5][6][7][8]
