English runner
Sally Ellis née McDiarmid (born 17 May 1958) is a female English long-distance road and cross-country runner.
Athletics career
Ellis competed in the Marathon for Britain at the 1992 Summer Olympics[1] and the 1991 World Championships in Athletics. She represented England in marathon event, at the 1990 Commonwealth Games in Auckland, New Zealand.[2][3] Four years later she represented England again, at the 1994 Commonwealth Games in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.[4][5][6]
She was a member of Birchfield Harriers[7] and founded a running and fitness group in Sutton Coldfield.[8]
