Roberto Zapperi (20 January 1932 – 4 April 2026) was an Italian art historian and writer.[1]
Zapperi received a fellowship from the Fondazione Luigi Einaudi and the Berlin Institute for Advanced Study[2] before becoming a professor in Hamburg.[3] He was also a member of the Deutsche Akademie für Sprache und Dichtung.[4]
Zapperi died in Rome on 4 April 2026, at the age of 94.[5]
