Pseudomonas fuscovaginae is a fluorescent, Gram-negative, soil bacterium that causes brown sheath rot of rice[1] and wheat.[2]: 2  The type strain is CCUG 32780.

Ps. fuscovaginae is a seed-borne pathogen.[3]: 19
