Born in Burgas, Pepelyashev started his career in the local Chernomorets Academies, before joining Ludogorets in 2018, at the age of 15.[2] In 2024, after main goalkeepers of Ludogorets got injuries, he was selected as second goalkeeper in the 2024 Bulgarian Cup final against Botev Plovdiv.[3] In 45th minute, the titular keeper Damyan Hristov got an injury which lead to Pepelyashev debut.[4] He received one goal and made few saves, but Ludogorets lost the final with 3:2 result.[5] Few days later he compleated his league debut in the last match for the season, against Cherno More.[6]
On 17 July 2024 he was sent on loan to the Second League team Nesebar on a season long deal.[7] In December 2024 he returned to Ludogorets and later it was revealed that he is leaving the club. In January 2025 he signed with Dobrudzha Dobrich.[8]
