Kenyan Football Administrator
Patrick Korir is the current chief executive officer[1][2] of Kenyan Premier League side Nairobi City Stars[3], and the interim chief executive officer at the Football Kenya Federation.[4][5]
Career
Korir holds a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from the Egerton University but traded IT to become a new media journalist from 2009 and Kenya football punditry in 2012. In 2019 he moved to management as the CEO of Nairobi City Stars.[6][7][8]
Korir also serves as the assistant tournament director for nationwide tournament Chapa Dimba[9] owned and managed by Kenyan Telco Safaricom.
Lately, he has come out strongly to expose[10] and fight match manipulation in Kenyan football[11], and making a case for the Kenyan government to enact laws to pin down those behind the vice.[12][13][14]
