History
Pasig City Science High School (Pasig Science, formal or PasigSci, informal) was founded in 2004 under the administration of former Pasig City Mayor Soledad Eusebio. The school formally opened in school year 2005-2006. After operating at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasig in the same school year, the school moved to its own building adjacent to the Rainforest Park in Maybunga. The school's first principal was Mr. Noel Salalima,[2] who served as principal until 2013. He was then followed by Mr. Jay Mathias Arellano from 2014 until June 2018. Mr. Charlie Fababaer succeeded Mr. Arellano from 2018 to April 2024. After his promotion to OIC ASDS of the Schools Division Office in Mandaluyong,[3] Ms. Liza C. Caigoy became the new school principal in May 2024.[4]
The school added a new building with six floors on December 18, 2013, inaugurated by then-mayor Mrs. Maribel Andaya-Eusebio and the City Council. It was first used by the Grade 7 students of the academic year 2014–2015. These classrooms are fully air-conditioned.
The school is currently headed by Ms. Liza Caigoy who started her term in May 2024.
