The Paradelta Ben Hur is an Italian single-place paraglider that was designed and produced by Paradelta Parma of Parma. It is now out of production.[1]

Design and development

The Ben Hur was designed as an advanced and competition glider. The models are each named for their relative size.[1]

Ben Hur T5° dm
Small-sized model for lighter pilots. Its 12.0 m (39.4 ft) span wing has a wing area of 24.2 m2 (260 sq ft) and 195 cells. The pilot weight range is 75 to 100 kg (165 to 220 lb).[1]
Ben Hur T5° dg
Mid-sized model for medium-weight pilots. Its 12.8 m (42.0 ft) span wing has a wing area of 28.1 m2 (302 sq ft) and 98 cells. The pilot weight range is 85 to 110 kg (187 to 243 lb).[1]
Ben Hur T5° de
Large-sized model for heavier pilots. Its 14.3 m (46.9 ft) span wing has a wing area of 34.5 m2 (371 sq ft) and 98 cells. The pilot weight range is 80 to 135 kg (176 to 298 lb).[1]
