Pain Ganj Afruz (Persian : پايين گنج افروز )[ a] is a village in, and the capital of, Ganj Afruz Rural District of the Central District of Babol County , Mazandaran province, Iran .[ 4]
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 4,821 in 1,380 households.[ 5] The following census in 2011 counted 4,912 people in 1,567 households.[ 6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 4,945 people in 1,686 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[ 2]
