Natica tedbayeri is a species of predatory sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Naticidae, the moon snails.[1]

A single shell of the Ted Bayern was found on sand during a night dive in front of Young Island.

Description

The maximum recorded shell length is 22 mm 22 mm (2.2 cm).[2]

A single shell of this species was collected on June 13, 2023, in front of Young Island during a night dive. Its approximate size is 15 mm (1.5 cm).

Habitat

The species' minimum recorded depth is 0 m (0 ft), while the maximum recorded depth is 50 m (160 ft).[2]
