Kasirye Martin, commonly known as Mc Tino (also known as Tino Berbatov) born in (1984-11-28) November 28, 1984 (age 40) in Jinja, Uganda to Baramaze John and Veronique Tebasurwa) is a Rwandan artist, [1] Radio host, MC and Deejay. He used to emcee different music festivals include Primus Guma Guma Super Star. He was the MC in all the big concerts that happened in Rwanda, among them are prepared by MTN Rwanda.

Early life and education

He[2] studied at the University of Rwanda in the Department of Business Administration (Marketing) in 2010.[3] He continued his studies in India, at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, where he obtained a diploma in Mass Communication.[4]

Music career

Mc Tino released his first album, Umurima, in 2018[5] that has popular songs like Umurima, Njyewe Nawe, MULA.[6][7][8][9][10][11]

Mc Tino was the lead singer of TBB[12] music trio which consisted of three members: Tino, Bob and Benja.[13] They separated after Primus Guma Guma Superstar[14] season 6 and he started a solo career. He is currently under Zoliberry Music as his music distribution label.[15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22][23][24]

Broadcasting

He currently does a talk show called DUNDA Show on KT Radio.[25] He hosted[26] Tito Kimenyi, Jean Paul Bujyacyera,[27]DJ Ira,[14] Simplice Himbaza, Anita Pendo,[28] Racine Kamatari, Kataleya and Kandle,[29]Marc Uwizeye[30] and Emmanuel Sibomana[31] on his radio show called Dunda on KT Radio.[26][15][32][29][33][34]

Emceeing

He used to emcee different music festivals including Primus Guma Guma Super Star.[35] He was the MC in all the big concerts that happened in Rwanda, among them are prepared by MTN Rwanda. [36] Mc Tino is considered as a Current Rwanda Mc Leader that he started mceeing since 2007. [37][38][39][40][41]

He performed as mc when Jason Derulo went to Rwanda.[42]
